Gala Night

Gala Night at the Greengate  School of Dancing. Situated more-or-less opposite the Boleyn pub in Barking Road. Hazel learnt to dance here. It may also have been an important venue in the early career of famous wartime singer Vera Lynn who was born and raised in  East Ham.
