On Friday 27th February 2009 the winners of the Newham Story Local History Quiz were invited to a presentation of prizes at East Ham Town Hall. The prizes were presented by Cllr. Richard Crawford, Executive Member for Community Forums who had previously selected the winning entries

The fabulous prizes, which were provided by the London Borough of Newham’s Community Participation Unit as part of their Inter-Forum Competition Programme.

2nd prize: Lumix 10 mega pixel still camera - Terry Green of Beckton

Under 18s
1st prize: Apple ipod i-touch (32gb) - Haajira Hussain aged 14 of East Ham
2nd prize: ipod Nano (16gb) - Priyesh Varsani aged 10 of East Ham
