Congregational Church, Forest Gate - 1
This was the first non-conformist chapel in Forest Gate. It was built in 1831 and was located at the junction of Sebert Road and Forest Lane. It was established by Jabez Legg and William Strange who built it at their own expense. (Legg went on to establish the alms-houses in Odessa Road, that still bear his name).
