Jubilee tavern stood in North Woolwich Road, West Silvertown. It was owned by Taylor Walker & Co. Ltd.
For a long time pubs formed the focal point of social and leisure time. The pub has etched glass door and window glazing and is faced with green tiles. The fascia is in a light cream tile with dark lettering. Note the terrace of lock-up shops just beyond Eastwood Road. There are two men in boiler suits, typical of the local industry. A black Austin taxi is parked outside the pub; coming into view on the extreme left is H. Howard & Sons Removals lorry and there is a mini-van parked outside one of the shops.
