A view of the Swan Hotel and C. A. Pratt Chemist, Stratford taken in February 1925 from Tramway Avenue. Note, the Chemist has a royal coat of arms on the notice that you can telephone from here and a giant pair of display spectacles. There are three children sheltering in the shop doorway. This photo also clearly shows the ornate balustrade on the Swan.
