We have created a new photo gallery on the Newham Story website entitled Weddings, where we hope to record the changing fashions, traditions and cultures in Newham from the last century.
Do you have a photograph that we could use of a family wedding in Newham?
It could be a fairly recent wedding or one from the past. It could your own wedding, your parents or even your grandparents.
All weddings are different, some quite casual and others more formal. There are weddings with many bridesmaids and a page-boy whilst others are small family affairs at the registry office. We would like to know the date of the wedding, where it took place and the names of the bride and groom. You could include any interesting or amusing story about the wedding.
