Very Interesting letter Barney. I would be interested to learn the extent of the misconduct leading up to the suspension. Although Wikipedia cannot be relied upon fully it does indicate that they won the Greater London League Title in 1969/70 and then joined the Metropolitan League in 1971 when it was formed. It says that after winning the championsip they left the league which I suspect was in the 1970/71 season following the issue of the letter that you posted.
