Does anybody remember the barman in The Prussia??

I was told that he was deaf and used to watch out of the window for his regulars and have their drink waiting....is this true?

The Prussia was our family local for many years my grand dad my dad and me and I never knew a deaf barman.
What I did like was the measures a light and bitter was three quarters of a pint of bitter and a light ale it was a great.
What is the pub like now ? its been 17 years since I was there !!!!!! And what about the Two Puddins it that still there ?
