hI, to every one,

i have already put on a post, which i found,on the web,   in the  (HISTORICAL NEWHAM SECTION),of the newham story forums ,called.
(  THE WORKHOUSE IN WESTHAM ESSEX )
and  having checked the author of this  facinating subject is  ;  Peter Higginbotham. and there are several books written by him which can also be obtained from the libraries,

THE WORKHOUSE ENCYCLOPEDIA.   classification reff; 362. 5850941

VOICES FROM THE WORKHOUSE.          :        ;       :   362. 5850941

THE WORKHOUSE COOKBOOK.              ;        ;       ;   362. 5850941

WORKHOUSES IN THE NORTH                ;        ;       ;  362. 58509427

Iv found that even when reading the introduction about this author, it gave  me an insight as to how conditions must have been in those times then. i found it interesting and fascinating at the same time ,( i am not in anyway connected to this person) but i  was gripped by the way life must have been then, very very hard, indeed.
many regards to you all,

GEORGIAN.
