I agree that the topics which we have been advised  is general chat is in fact history of our lives living in East/West Ham. Our memories will always include the food we were eating at the time and the music we were listening to.

I like all the other members who have replied thoroughly enjoy reading Louise's memories and seeing the photo's that she has shared with us. Not everyone is lucky enough to still have their relatives who remember life in the 30's and onwards (I luckily still have my mum who is 86) and it is a treat to be able to read of times gone by.

I also agree with Mark that a section on "general nostalgia" is a very good idea.
