3  The Newham Story / Looking for a lost friend or relative / Harry Kennard from Custom House on: 10 August, 2011, 08:45:48 PM
Henry 'Harry' Kennard died  in 1994, sadly through suicide. Jean Kennard. nee Wylde has told me that four weeks before he died, he told her he was flying a 'Piper Aircraft to Spain' Harry had little worries, so it has been a mystery to his daughter Sue and myself why he would do such a thing? I still need info on Jean Wylde and her sister Patricia, as to whether they were evacuated from custom house and if they were, did they ever end up in a children's home?

Thanks

Larry K

Anyone know these sisters. They are the relatives if the Kennards of Royal Rd I believe. Trying to trace their childhood after 1941, believe they may have been evacuated. Jean Payne married Henry 'Harry'  Kennard in the 60's, and Pat married Kenneth Kentish and lives in Essex.

Larryk. (Harry's daughter Susan is my wife)
